If you aren't familiar with Michael Buble's music you should know his genre of music would probably be considered easy listening pop. Although some people call it jazz. It's like some of the famous American singers from the 1950's such as; Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, and Dean Martin.
At the concert Michael Buble sang many classic well known songs such as "Fever," "Feeling Good," and "Try a Little Tenderness." He also sang some of his new songs from his recent album "To be Loved." My favorites that he sang from his recent album were "Close Your Eyes," and "It's a Beautiful Day." All these songs were sang great. The slow songs were soothing and pleasing to the ear. The fast songs made the audience dance and smile. His music overall makes you feel happy. I'm not sure how else I can explain it. I would definitley reccomend listening to his music if you haven't already.
My favorite part of the concert was when Buble sang "To Love Somebody," and it's not because that's my favorite song of his. I liked this part of the concert because he intereacted with the audience. He walked down from the stage and throught the audience to another stage in the back that had circle like shape. I like to look at it like he wanted everyone of his fans to experience him live close up. He certainly has a way with people. At the end of the song confetti hearts shooted down from the ceiling all around the building. The experience was truley remarkable and it's something I won't ever forget, especially since it was my first concert. If you ever have a chance to attend one of his concert go! You won't regret it.
Hi Jacquelyn!!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, sorry for taking so long! Second of all, I absolutely love your blog! I also enjoy both coffee and music very much. I can't think of a life without music. It helps me through a lot of things in sunny or rainy days....I know of Michael Buble as well! I'm not a big fan like you, but I did enjoy hearing his songs. I got introduced to him by my mom when he first came out with "Haven't Met You Yet". He has such a sweet voice and he was very popular in England where my mom lives. She was in love with him! :-)
I had no idea he was going to be in Kc, MO. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself and thank you for sharing with us!
